In the big beautiful bill, Trump created a whole new set of rules for direct primary care. And this is a big deal because now direct primary care is compatible with health savings accounts. Wait what? I did not know that. That is fantastic. You can use your HSA and pay your big tree membership now officially. There was a large employer in town who was telling people during their open enrollment you can't have a big tree membership because it invalidates your HSA. We're not sure if that was actually true or not but it's clearly not true now. As of January 1st, HSAs are the way to go. Well this is huge for self-employed people because it was a hard decision for me to give up my HSA. Now I still have the account which is great because I can literally just start using it again. So this is this is my favorite interview of the year now. This is like the best news ever because I get this.
